Recreation Areas

There are three recreational areas located in the village. 

"Kiddy Park" in the 4200 block of Oak Park Avenue. 

A playground for children twelve years of age and under.

Haley Park on 40th and Grove. 

Basketball Jr. court, pavilion, playground complex and sandbox.

 

Veterans Memorial Park - 41st & Ridgeland

Pavilion, soccer and baseball fields, skateboard park, sand volleyball court, tennis court and playground.

Stickney Little League:

The Stickney Little League provides baseball programs for boys and girls from the ages of 7 to 18 years of age.  The park and fields are located at 42nd Street and Ridgeland Avenue. The new fields were constructed in 1992 through a joint venture of the Village of Stickney, the Water Reclamation District and the Stickney Baseball Association.
