New Expanded Village Hall Hours

Extended Village Hall hours are coming.  In order to serve our residents better, we will be offering extended hours on the first and third Tuesdays of every month starting April 19, 2011.  These are the same nights as the regular scheduled meetings of the Board of Trustee's.

New Tree Lottery

This years Tree Lottery will be held at the Village Board meeting on April 6, 2011.  Stop by the Village Hall to fill out a form or call 749-4400.


Earth Day 2011

The Village of Stickney will hold it's first ever Earth Day on April 9, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. till noon.  We will be cleaning up the Village parks.  We are looking for volunteers to help with this project.

Arbor Day 2011

The Village of Stickney will be celebrating Arbor Day on
Friday, April 29th
We will be planting one tree at
both Edison and Home Schools

Stickney/Forest View Little League
Opening Day Parade

Saturday, April 30th
Kicking off at 11:30 a.m.
The parade will start at the Forest View Police Department and travel east on 45th Street to Oak Park Ave and will end up at Rench Park at 43rd & Ridgeland.

Memorial Day Parade

This year's Memorial Day Old Fashioned Parade is on Monday, May 29th at 11:00 a.m. Please come out and enjoy the parade.  It will come down Oak Park Ave from Berwyn to Mount Auburn Cemetery where a memorial service will be held to honor our service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in their service to our nation.
